ARAG, the Precision Agriculture division of Nordson Corporation, is celebrating its 50th anniversary at EIMA 2026, taking place at BolognaFiere in Italy from November 10 to 14. The company is showcasing its latest precision farming technologies, including intelligent spraying systems, agricultural automation solutions and AI-powered applications designed to improve efficiency and sustainability.
Founded in 1976 in Rubiera, Italy, ARAG has grown into a global supplier of components, control systems and advanced technologies for agricultural machinery. Its participation in EIMA 2026 highlights five decades of innovation and the company’s continued commitment to developing connected and sustainable farming solutions.
ARAG Marks 50 Years of Precision Agriculture Innovation
ARAG’s 50th anniversary represents a significant milestone in its development from a manufacturer of agricultural spraying components into an international technology provider. Over the years, the company has expanded its operations to Brazil, Argentina, Australia and the United States while strengthening its expertise in electronics, software and fluid management systems.
Daniel Neves, Division Leader of Nordson Precision Agriculture, emphasized the importance of the anniversary: “Celebrating ARAG’s 50th anniversary at EIMA is an opportunity to recognize the people, expertise, and vision that have transformed the company into a globally recognized brand. This legacy continues to guide us today.”
Advanced Spraying Technologies Take Center Stage at EIMA 2026
At EIMA 2026, ARAG is presenting innovative solutions aimed at improving spraying accuracy, automation and connectivity. Among the key technologies on display is the BLC G-VAR PRO automatic boom height control system, designed to maintain a consistent distance from crop canopies and improve spraying performance under demanding field conditions.
The company is also showcasing its new SYNCRO J1939 system combined with intelligent 853C+ valves. This technology enables the automation of essential sprayer functions while improving precision, reliability and integration with modern agricultural machinery control systems.
AI-Powered Spot Spraying Supports Sustainable Farming
One of ARAG’s major technology highlights at EIMA 2026 is its development of AI-powered spot spraying solutions. By combining real-time weed detection through vision systems with Flowtron technology, agricultural machinery can apply crop protection products only where needed, helping reduce chemical consumption and environmental impact.
ARAG is also presenting individual nozzle control technologies for orchards and vineyards, supporting more accurate crop protection treatments and optimized resource management in specialty agriculture.
Nordson Strengthens ARAG’s Global Growth Strategy
Since joining Nordson Corporation in August 2023, ARAG has continued expanding its technological capabilities and international presence. Nordson’s acquisition of U.S.-based agricultural technology company CapstanAG in 2026 has further strengthened its Precision Agriculture division, particularly in the North American market.
Meanwhile, ARAG continues manufacturing its products in Italy, supported by production improvements, dedicated manufacturing cells and Visual Daily Management (VDM) systems designed to increase efficiency and optimize workflows.
ARAG Focuses on the Future of Smart Agriculture
Through its presence at EIMA 2026, ARAG is demonstrating how automation, artificial intelligence and connected technologies can contribute to more efficient agricultural operations. Its latest innovations aim to help farmers improve application accuracy, reduce waste and achieve greater productivity.
Celebrating 50 years of technological development, ARAG is reinforcing its position in the global precision agriculture market while continuing to invest in intelligent and sustainable solutions for the future of farming.
